This was a working model of a completely novel engine construction and operation originated by the British Inventor Steve Lindsey. It was developed as a tool, to enable Steve to quickly and clearly explain the revolutionary principles inside his unusual engine design.
At the point of commissioning this model, Steve was looking to further develop his engine design into a fully working prototype but was struggling to communicate the radical operation of his engine to potential investors. So I worked with Steve to design and build this model to help explain how it worked.
These videos were filmed during the later stages of the build and show the synchronised counter rotating blades (orange) traveling through the rotating discs.
Once created it provided him with an invaluable tool to take to meetings to quickly and clearly explain how his engine was different, how it functioned and to give much needed clarity to the potential investors and backers.
